Growing volleyball across West Cork
West Cork Volleyball CLG began with informal volleyball sessions at a playground in Skibbereen in July 2024. What started as a chance to bring people together has grown into a welcoming club where children, teenagers and adults can learn, play and enjoy volleyball.
Founded by head coach Daniela C. Kinsella, our club is built on a simple belief: sport can help people build confidence, develop friendships and feel part of their community.
Volleyball for different ages and abilities
We offer beginner sessions, U16 and U18 girls’ teams, women’s volleyball and adult social sessions, with activities in Dunmanway and Ballydehob. Whether you’re picking up a volleyball for the first time or looking to develop your skills and compete, we’d love to welcome you.
Our sessions encourage teamwork, respect and progress. For our younger players, that means learning skills while growing in confidence. For adults, it’s an opportunity to stay active, meet people and enjoy the game.
Become part of our club
Download the West Cork Volleyball CLG app to register, choose your membership and keep up with club news, training and events.
All players must also hold the appropriate Volleyball Ireland membership before taking part in training or matches. You’ll find a link to register in the app, and we’re happy to help if you’re unsure which membership to choose.
We’re proud of how far our club has come, and we look forward to welcoming more players, families and volunteers as we continue growing volleyball across West Cork.
Come along, get involved and find your place on the court!
