Coming This February

We are very excited to share some big news for our club — we are hoping to start a new boys volleyball team this February, and we couldn’t be more excited about this next step in our journey.

Over the past year, our club has grown steadily in confidence, skill, and community. We currently have U14, U16, and U18 girls teams, and watching these players grow together has been incredibly rewarding. As the club continues to develop, it felt like the right time to open our doors wider and create new opportunities for boys who would like to be part of our volleyball family.

Volleyball is a fast, dynamic, and team-focused sport that offers so much more than just physical skills. It builds confidence, communication, discipline, and strong friendships. We know there are many boys in our area who may be looking to try something new, return to sport, or improve their skills in a positive and supportive environment — and we would love to welcome them.

Our goal with the new boys team is to create a space where players can:

• Learn volleyball fundamentals from the basics
• Develop skills at their own pace
• Build confidence and teamwork
• Feel included, supported, and challenged

No previous volleyball experience will be required. Curiosity, effort, and a willingness to try are all that matter.

To mark this new beginning, we will be hosting an Open Day in February, giving boys aged 13+ the chance to come along, meet the coach, try the sport, and see what our club is all about. It will be a relaxed, fun session designed to introduce volleyball and help players feel comfortable on the court.

Starting a boys team is an exciting step forward for our club and for our wider community. It reflects our commitment to growing volleyball locally and creating opportunities for young people to discover the sport in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

We are very grateful for the continued support of our players, families, and community, and we can’t wait to see this next chapter unfold.
