On Saturday, June 22nd, West Cork Volleyball Club brought the energy to Tramore Valley Park in Cork City for an exciting grass tournament filled with fun, competition, and community spirit.
U16s Take 1st & 2nd Place!
Our Under 16s had a fantastic day on the grass courts, finishing 1st and 2nd overall based on total points earned throughout the tournament. While there was no final match, our two teams did face each other during the day — and it was all smiles, solid rallies, and great sportsmanship.
It was wonderful to see their teamwork, effort, and improvement in action!
Adults Bring Home 2nd & 4th
The Adult teams gave strong performances too, placing 2nd and 4th in a competitive and fun series of matches. Whether it was powerful serves, smart plays, or supportive sideline cheers — our players brought their best and had a blast doing it.
A Day to Remember
With the sun shining, games rolling, and laughter in the air, it was more than just a tournament — it was a celebration of volleyball and community. Families, teammates, and supporters all helped make the day special.
